Hi there. Josh here. I'm a freelance writer based in New York City. I recently wrapped up a yearlong reporting fellowship at The New York Times, and I've also written for New York Magazine, The Washington Post, Guardian US and more.

After graduating from the University of Maryland in 2016, I bounced around the East Coast working for different newspapers. I believe my diverse experiences are an asset as a reporter, as I am comfortable connecting with sources from all walks of life. My greatest strength is narrative storytelling, and I also have experience writing breaking news, editing and fact checking.
